One idea I can apply to my life from Les Mis is that people do sometimes form an opinion from a first expression. Another idea was that in Les Mis they are kind of similar to real life at the moment due to the pandemic.
December 1
My relationship with others influence me but not as much as I influence myself. This is due to the fact that I am aware what I want to do for myself which helps me from time to time.
December 4
I would try my best to not make eye contact or talk to the other person unless I am required to. For example if I am hungry or if I want to go out for a walk. Also, I would try to stay out of their way if they have the same enmity as me towards them.

   1) The book I am currently reading is Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. It is about this kid named Harry who discovers he was a wizard since birth. He then attends the wizarding school Hogwarts. He makes some friends along the way.     2) I believe the theme of the book is somewhat Identity and Growing Up since he realizes who he really is and is growing as in knowledge wise.     3) From the author's tone I would imagine that they sleep late since she puts in a lot of effort on her books which normally means they work on their book a lot, mostly in the night so that would lead to wake up late. LEARNING WITH CLARK QUINN (CREDIT OPPORTUNITY)

    I spent my afternoon listening to Dr. Quinn who talked about learning science, using technology to support learning at personal and institutional levels, and engagement and motivation. He was stating that it seems more difficult to learn at your own pace in times like these. Dr. Quinn also learned of a French phrase that Mr. Preston told him about which means that you think of the right thing to say after the conversation is over. There is a different discipline in science which we haven't learned yet according to Dr. Quinn. When offering ideas in science you have to be careful what you say since it can be held against you from what I understand from Dr. Quinn. When you ask 600 people if they ever use quadratic equations only 2 would raise their hand according to Dr. Quinn. He believes that together (the students and teacher) we can work for the teacher to show what we need for the test while they try and make the learning experience interesting. Clark ...
